Leadership Training for all newly installed church officers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012.

2012 Discipleship Groups and Ministry Officers All elected officers are required to be installed prior to serving. A make-up installation will be held on January 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the officer's training.

"Great Joy. . . a Gospel Christmas" DVD orders will be taken starting this weekend January 28th at the Media Ministry sales desk in the multipurpose room following all worship services. The cost is $15.00. .

WOW: Women of The Word Small Groups The 8-week Spring Bible Study Session will begin in March. Explore the extraordinary life of Jonah or study how to be faithful, abundant and true in Christ through the dynamic teachings of Priscilla Shier, Beth Moore and Kay Arthur. J&P Ministry Prayer Session The Jail & Prison Ministry will have a special prayer session on Saturday, February 4 from 5:00pm - 6:00pm to lift up those impacted by the criminal justice system. Griefshare If you or someone you know has experienced the death of a loved one, you are invited to attend our next GriefShare series. The 13 week sessions will be held twice a week on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:00 beginning February 5 and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00 beginning February 8. New Parking Lot Area Available Parking spaces are now available at 117 North Alfred Street (between King and Cameron) – 150 spaces (underground, secure, with ASBC validation. Get ticket to enter lot. Once you park your vehicle, an ASBC attendant/ representative will be on duty to stamp/ validate your parking ticket before you proceed to the church. Parking at this lot is only available for ASBC validation on Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Looking for a fun weekend activity?Consider joining the ASBC Sports Ministry 2011 Bowling Fellowship League. The league bowls once a month, starting at 12:45 p.m., at the Bowl America Shirley bowling alley located on Edsall Road @ I-395 in Alexandria. We're looking to fill approximately 8 positions with ASBC members interested in developing their bowling skills and meeting and fellowshipping with the ASBC Church family. We are not looking for professional bowlers and this is not a sanctioned league. The cost is $13/pp, which includes 3 games and shoes.
