Course Description: Judaism, Christianity and Islam all claim Abraham as the patriarch of their faith traditions. In this course we will examine the biblical narrative that tells us about the person, who has come to mean so much too so many. Who is this man that received the promise form God and what are we to make of his call? Most importantly, how does his story have meaning for our lives today as Christians in the 21^st century?
