2011 Scholarship Application Guidelines

Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements:

Graduate from a high school in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (Washington, D.C. Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax County, Falls Church City, and Loudon County in Virginia and Prince Georges County, and Montgomery County in
Be a legal United States citizen
Admitted to and committed to attend a four-year institution
Demonstrated commitment to community service
Maintained a solid academic record with a 2.75 or above grade point average
Combined SAT scores (critical reading, math, writing) of 1400 or above /or Composite ACT of 19 or above
Exhibit financial need

Award Amount
$5000 annually - renewable for 4 years (up to $20,000 total award). Other smaller awards also may be available.

Selection Process
The Foundation Committee will review and present awards in June 2010.
