The Tutorial Ministry has served the students of ASBC and the surrounding metro area of MD, VA, DC since 1985. Students are not required to be a member of the church to attend tutoring sessions every Monday night according to the Alexandria School schedule; but they must be a registered student in the Tutorial Ministry. Please see attached applications. The purpose of the Tutorial Ministry is to assist youth of the Alfred Street Baptist Church and surrounding communities in enhancing self-esteem, motivation, study habits, and to encourage students to take responsibility for "learning" which is commensurate with their ability to perform in academic settings. We incorporate the motto of Pray, Prepare and Perform through weekly student-led devotional sessions.

TUTORIAL CLASSES ARE HELD ON MONDAYS FROM 7:00 TO 9:00 P.M.
