I'm going through a divorce after 23 years. My faith is strong but it's hard to sometimes adjust. I have crying spells and I just want to know why did this happen to me. I did all I was supposed to do as a loving wife and mom. We have one child together and he is in his mid-twenties. I really don't want this to affect him the way that it is affecting me. I can't sleep sometimes, I'm not bitter and I pray for him daily because he has cancer. I know that divorce is synonymous with death, and there are stages that we must go through.
