My Alfred Street Family - I am so grateful for your prayers and our fellowship. My Mom has a heart condition "Afib" and was not feeling well so she was taken to the hospital as a precaution. It turns out that due to a medicine change, she developed a blood clot in her leg. After about an hour of testing, we were told that a helicopter would be arriving immediately to transport her to Washington Hospital Center for emergency surgery. How is this possible?? We were just laughing and talking that same morning with no indication of any issue. After the shock wore off, we were further informed that without immediate care - there was a possibility of her losing her foot or possibly her leg. As she is 86 years old, the thought of any surgery is frightening. We continue to pray and ask God for healing hands from the surgeons and to give her strength and courage. The doctors removed not one, but THREE blood clots within 1.5 hours of surgery and although she is still on the road to recovery, my Mom is well and still with us. She is a true example of the miracles that God performs and I ask that you pray for her continued strength and recovery!

I'm going through a divorce after 23 years. My faith is strong but it's hard to sometimes adjust. I have crying spells and I just want to know why did this happen to me. I did all I was supposed to do as a loving wife and mom. We have one child together and he is in his mid-twenties. I really don't want this to affect him the way that it is affecting me. I can't sleep sometimes, I'm not bitter and I pray for him daily because he has cancer. I know that divorce is synonymous with death, and there are stages that we must go through. So I'm soliciting prayer on my family's behalf. Thank you so much...
Please pray for my husband, we have been separated for a few years and he told me he wants his family back. However, each time he draws back to his family, a lady name Shanelle, he met during our seperation, tries to come back and begins to pursue him. I know my husband has a stronghold on him and wants to be freed. Please pray for the stronghold on his life to be broken so he can return to his relationship with the Lord and his family.
