FAQs

1.) Is registration REQUIRED to attend?

No. There is no registration required or necessary. This is a first-come-first-served, drive-in/drive-up event ONLY. Therefore, we advise everyone to arrive early as the gates will open at 8:30am EDT and the Worship Experience will commence at 9:45am EDT.

2.) Will there be restrooms available for public use?

Yes, there will be a plethora of Porta Pottys on-site.

3.) What happens if I get sick at the event?

A medical team and EMTs will be on-site.

4.) I don’t have a car or access to a vehicle…can I utilize a ride share service (Uber, Lyft or taxi) or public transportation (bus or Metro) to get to the drive-in/up outdoor Worship Experience?

Unfortunately, this is a drive-in/drive up event ONLY. You must enter the venue in a car, vehicle or SUV. NO WALK-UPS will be allowed. (No Exceptions)

5.) May I bring my own snacks and beverages to the event?

Yes, you may bring small snacks for you and the attendees in your vehicle ONLY. Water, juice or soda are permitted but NO ALCOHOL of any kind will be allowed.

6.) What if I can’t attend… can I watch online?

Yes, you certainly may! We will LIVE STREAM the worship services on our YouTube channel at 10am EDT and it will re-air at 2pm EDT.

7.) Do I have to wear a mask & will I be required to social distance?

Despite the high number of vaccinations, the DELTA Variant continues to spread throughout the United States. We want to keep everyone safe so while you ARE NOT REQUIRED to wear a mask, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE it, as well as REMAINING SOCIALLY DISTANT while attending this event.

8.) Is there a cost to attend?

No. This event is a completely FREE.

9.) Will I be able to pay my tithes or contributions in person?’

Unfortunately, no; please be sure to pay your tithes, offerings or donations via text, online or mail your check prior to your arrival.

10.)Will you provide chairs?

No. Everyone will be responsible and required to bring their own chairs. Each car will have an empty parking space next to them to set-up chairs and enjoy the Worship Experience.

11.) How long will this service last?

We plan to end the Worship Experience before Noon EDT.

12.) Will there be a bus for senior citizens?

Unfortunately, there will not be a bus for seniors.

13.) May I sit in my vehicle with the engine idling during the Worship Service?

Yes, you may.

14.) May I bring my own tent or pop up tent and put it up in the open parking space next to my car?

No you may not. Unfortunately, we have to adhere to the Prince George’s County (PG County) Parking Permit Rules which restricts the number of tents that we can have on the ground or in the FedExField Parking Lots.

15.) Do I have to remain in my car during the event?

You DO NOT have to remain in your car. You can get out of your car, sit in your own chairs and mingle with your carpool attendees.

By entering the Alfred Street Baptist Church Drive-In/Drive-Up Outdoor Worship Experience at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, you hereby grant the Alfred Street Baptist Church the right, but not the obligation, to photograph, film and capture you and your likeness, on film and/or through any other method currently available or that becomes available in the future. You further agree that these images may be used in the production, exhibition, distribution, promotion, publicity, on social media platforms and advertising of similar events and any other event sponsored by the Alfred Street Baptist Church. Under no circumstances will your likeness be used in connection with commercial endorsements of any kind.
