Dear Alfred Street Baptist Church Prayer Ministry,
Right now, I need prayer for financial assistance with my rent. I am a virtual member residing in Hurst, Texas, and I work as an entrepreneurial librarian and archivist serving the Black community.
I am engaged and planning my wedding. My car’s transmission just went and I am struggling in my relationship due to the cost and having to borrow his car to get to both of my jobs. I feel so defeated, overwhelmed, and exhausted. My fiancé has been angry for a while and I am feeling really sad.
Please pray for me to keep my eyes on Jesus, also please pray for my employment situation and for me to be able to provide for my wife and to pay all our bills. Pray for me to stay positive, too, please. Thank you and God bless you, in Jesus holy name.
Please pray for my son Jimmy and his family they need a three bedroom apartment immediately that our Lord will open doors for them thank you.
I have continuously been having issues with health insurance and getting my medications. May you kindly lift this up to God in prayer soliciting the Father’s help, as I’m strongly sensing there is more than natural agents at work here? I’ve prayed but 2 can chase 10,000 and so on. Thank you.

I have sickle cell and was recently in the hospital with pneumonia. This hospital visit set me back and I had to delay my graduation from grad school. Since coming home, I’ve had headaches and nausea but I cannot afford to take more time off work. I’m praying for complete healing and recovery.
My 17 year old daughter. She no interest in school. Luckily, she's allowed to graduate in the next few days . Friends change frequently. Just random people with problems she consistently attachs herself to. She has nocturnal enuresis/bed wedding consistently at night . Drs state it's social anxiety.
Employment in new fulfilling purposeful career and purchase of coop in Harlem, NYC. Faith, peace of mind, resilience that God will provide and trust that God's plan is better than mine. I am feeling bouts of loneliness, missing loving partnership. God bless me with wonderful husband.

My family has been impacted by the current events financially for months. We live & spend modestly. As much as we would like to return to the government, I pray that GOD swiftly help us secure a full-time job designed just for us to maintain the basics (e.g., living, medical, rent, college).
My lungs are healed according to God's will. I am thankful to have a reasonable portion of health and strength. Please Lord God give me the strength to care for my body and my apartment. Asking for guidance if The Lord wants me to move. There is mold etc.
Thank You Holy Spirit in advance for healing, restoration, and revival of my body according to the Word of the Lord in Romans chapter 8v11, and Romans chapter 8v26 Amen.

Hi! I experienced sudden lay off in December. I’m now faced with paying 2 months worth of past due rent plus rent for June. I need $6451 by May 30 at 5PM in order to avoid being evicted. God has kept me thus far and I’m trusting Him to provide! Just need some back up!
In need of clearer direction for the ministry that God has called me to. Stable employment and financial stability. I desire all that He has in store for me, I just want to ensure that I’m following Him properly. Not my will but His will be done!

We are currently working towards closing on a new home. Our first big purchase as a recently married couple. We have had some contingency concerns raise hiccups in the process, please pray that it all works out and particularly for the sellers' to be reasonable with us on the requests we make.
Pray for and improved financial situation and outlook. That this season of struggle won’t be my permanent story and that things will soon get easier as I strive to get in a better financial footing. That I will soon walk into a season of financial stability.
