My condolences to the Wallace Family. Deacon Pat Wallace's warm smile will be missed around the Church. May the memories that her Family and others have shared with her they will think of her often. For right now, the memories may be painful, but others will miss her too. Maybe, after some time has passed. Just remembering our Beloved Deacon Pat Wallace in some way or another. We will miss her! Mrs. Minnie Jackson Whitney

Dearest Soror Pat, I pray you knew how special you were. Your smile, warmth, caring spirit and love for others was palpable. You always impressed me with your memory of details others would surely miss. Those details made all the difference. As you take your rightful place with our Father, know that your living was not in vain.

My prayer for the Wallace family: Dear Lord, I lean into Your heart so that my heart can grieve and be comforted by Your grace. Remind me that life is like a drop of water in time, but eternity with You is a sea of hope, healing, and happiness. Precious Lord, love me and help me through my grief and lead me to those who are grieving so that I can comfort others with Your words of love and life. With my sincere condolences, Deacon (Soror) Wanda A. Smith

I met Deacon Pat when I first joined the church. She was not my Deacon, but there was never a time that she didn’t extend herself when I was in need. The epitome of a Deaconess. God bless and rest your soul Deacon Pat. Thank you for all the times you saw this struggling single mom. I love you Lady💐🙏🏾

My condolences to the Wallace family. I weep as I write these words. Beacon Pat was such a nice, welcoming person. A special person; lovely to work with. I shall always remember her as a kind sole. While I will miss seeing her here on earth, I will reflect on her often (with great fondness), especially when I celebrate my youngest sister’s birthday. A day which she shared with Deacon Pat—July 7th. Rest in Christ Deacon!

To the Wallace Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Though we did not know Deacon Patricia intimately, we met her and Deacon Alton many years ago during a marriage ministry conversation at ASBC. We enjoyed the energy that this beautiful couple shared between each other. And, we valued the words of wisdom that they shared with everyone that evening. The Wallace’s spoke of marriage as “seasons.” They said that during a marriage, couples go through seasons (summer, fall, winter and spring.) Some seasons may last longer than others and the seasons do not always come in order. Each... Read more

Each season represents a different stage, filled with different challenges and rewards. But the seasons are always connected…and, as a couple, you grow from each of them. We are deeply sorry for this extreme loss and want to extend our sincere condolences to the family. We wanted to especially send our love and thoughts to Deacon Alton. We cannot imagine how deeply painful this must be for him. The love that this couple shares, is love that transcends space and time. It inspires others. And, we will ever forever be admirers of their love story. Sincerely, Ray and Melissa Crawford XOXO... It was such a pleasure to serve on the ASBC Foundation Board under Deacon Pat's leadership. She always served with such grace and patience. She's the epitome of Christ's love. I'm heart-broken and will miss her greatly, so I can only pray for the strength and comfort of devoted husband Al, daughters and extended family. She was a vital part of several families: ASBC family, AKA Sorority family, NCA&T Aggie family. Your light lives on in the many lives you've touched.
